Support Services Manager Full-Time

Job Summary

Fit is working with a local nonprofit in their search for a dynamic Support Services Manager to add to their growing, impactful team. Pay is in the $10/hr. - $14/hr. range depending on experience. We are in search of a caring, detailed leader capable of managing, overseeing and supporting the organization in a manner consistent with the philosophy, policies, and procedures of the program and agency. 


Job Description

  • Handle orientation and policies for the organization 
  • Work closely with Directors to maintain open communication
  • Meets regularly and works close with Case Managers on various needs 
  • Conducts all inventories and manages donation logs 
  • Completes thank you notes for all donations
  • Promotes activities and encourages particiation to members within the organization 
  • Administers routine and/or random drug tests,as needed..
  • Answers telephone and respond to inquiries
  • Provides resources and referrals for crisis calls received throughout shift.
  • Conducts regular facility safety checks and fire drills
  • Works alongside Program Director and coordinates periodic review and revision of program procedures
  • Manages all maintenance requests and schedules all appropriate contractors to address maintenance needs
  • Other tasks as requested by Program Director.


Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Associate’s or Bachelor Degree preferred
  • A minimum of a year of experience working in a nonprofit setting.
  • Ability to drive a 15 passenger van when necessary
  • Ability to achieve and maintain CPR Certification
  • Ability to diffuse crisis situations both within team settings and independently
  • Ability to document program events and carry out scheduled or spontaneous tasks
