Job Summary

Fit is seeking an experienced IT professional to join a reputable growing company as a Help Desk Technician.  This is a great opportunity for someone with 3+ years of experience paying in the $35-$40K range, depending on experience.  The function of this position is to support employees by providing computer assistance, handling service requests, and installation of new equipment. 

Job Description

  • Responsible for operating IT-Pointe Help Desk application as level 1 support
  • Respond to local calls from users requesting assistance for computer and business application support
  • Record all requests for service and all scheduled maintenance 
  • Act as liaison between end user and technical escalation team 
  • Assist in documenting and resolving any application errors 
  • Assist in rotation or installation of new equipment 
  • Be able to diagnose computer hardware and software problems
  • Assist in the software loading of applications and updates
  • Assist in maintaining minimal inventory of replacement parts for computer maintenance
  • Participate in On-call rotation for support
  • Train all trainers in becoming more proficient with the application they use and train on

Job Requirements

  • Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in computer science
  • • 2+ years computer support experience
  • • 1+ years working with Windows client/server environment
