Job Summary

Fit is seeking a friendly Customer Service Administrator to join a growing business in Mobile, Alabama. This position must be able to provide prompt technical support via phone, web, email, and chat. Excellence in customer service skills is a must. A background in customer support is also preferred. We are looking for a self-motivated person who is willing to take ownership of customer issues reported and see those problems through to resolution.

Ideal candidates will be comfortable researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions to resolve any issues presented. Applicants must also be able to follow standard procedures for proper handoff of unresolvable issues to the appropriate internal person in order to maximize customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be able to accept ownership for effectively solving customer issues, complaints and inquiries; keeping customer satisfaction at the core of every decision and behavior.

Job Description

  • Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and providesolutions and/or alternatives
  • Commitment, focus, and follow-through needed to see problems through to resolution
  • Exceptional customer service skills and excellent communication skills to provideprompt and accurate feedback to customers
  • Seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise
  • Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by going the extra mile
  • Keep records of all conversations in our CRM in a comprehensible way
  • Other clerical and shipping duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Previous experience in a customer support role preferred
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to quickly learn business software programs
  • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to focus and follow-through to resolution of issues
  • Ability to diffuse tension and work the issue at hand
