Accounting Clerk Full-Time

Job Summary

Fit is seeking a skilled accounting clerk to assist the Accounting Department in managing various service functions, including investor/draw schedule customer relations, accounting, and treasury, all in alignment with the Company’s mission, vision and core values.  Salary is in the $30-$35K range depending on experience plus competitive benefits.


Job Description

  • ​Send accounts receivable invoices to customers
  • Reconcile accounts payable statements and file invoices
  • Inventory counts
  • Track credit card transactions and reconcile them monthly 
  • Record journal entries in the general ledger
  • Review, obtain approval and pay utility bills 
  • Prepare monthly sales and use tax return
  •  Prepare reports as requested by management
  • May perform back-up duties for other positions within work group


Job Requirements

  • Three (3) years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of payment processing and receipt processing procedures
  • Skilled using Excel and other computer software for financial transactions.
  • Skilled in mathematical computations used in accounting.
  • Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
