Our Story

Fit is a professional recruiting firm that specializes in the areas of Accounting, Information Technology, Office Administration, Transportation, Engineering, and Executive Searches. We partner with our clients to understand their specific needs, then use our resources and experience to locate the most qualified professionals that “fit” our clients’ requirements. Fit provides temporary/contract, temp-to-hire and full-time staffing and employment solutions.

Our Services

Fit is a “boutique” staffing and employment firm. Being a boutique firm gives us the flexibility to work with each client to create a mutually beneficial arrangement tailored to individual needs. Fit's fee structure is negotiable. Fit processes payroll for contract employees and will work with each company individually to find the easiest solution. We personally meet every candidate before introducing them to our clients in order to make sure they are the right Fit. We also will conduct reference checks, background checks, and will drug test candidates upon request.

Our Processes

If you are interested in working with Fit, we would love to sit down with you to discuss your hiring needs. We find it most helpful to meet with you to get a feel for your company culture and work environment to ensure we find the right personality and experience needed when screening candidates. Fit can help your company save time and money going through hundreds or thousands of applications to narrow down the right candidates. We strive to have screened, top candidates to the hiring company within 48 hours of a job order. Fit is “picky” when sending candidates. In fact, 75% of those candidates hired from Fit are one of the first two we send. We are proud to have maintained those results since our very first client. Once we understand the culture and experience, Fit will narrow down the field of candidates to those the company would want to meet, not just those who can check down a list of qualifications. The process of finding the right people can be grueling, but Fit can provide a simple transition from the candidate search to hiring.

Chambliss Brister

Managing Partner

Chambliss started Fit with over 5 years professional staffing and business development experience. She is a graduate of Auburn University with a B.A. in Corporate Journalism and minor in Business Administration. Chambliss is a member of the Rotary Club of Mobile, Junior League of Mobile and is a member of Christ Church Cathedral.

Lang Hamilton

Business Development Manager

Lang came to Fit as a candidate, but she was quickly hired to run the Business Development side. Lang comes to FIT with a background in banking and international shipping where she has made lasting and meaningful business relationships in her hometown of Mobile. Lang graduated from The University of the South: Sewanee. She is a member of The Junior League of Mobile, Marketing and Social Chair of Rotaract, and Public Relations Chair for the American Cancer Society’s Late Night Vintage Affair.

Anna McClure


Anna returned to her hometown of Mobile and joined Fit as lead recruiter. After graduating from The University of Alabama in 2013, Anna lit up the music scene in Nashville at Neste Event Marketing as a Producer. Once finding her way back home, Anna now thrives on finding the perfect job for Fit’s candidates. When Anna is not changing lives one job at a time, she enjoys being a member of Christ Church Cathedral, Junior League of Mobile and Culverhouse Networking group of the University of Alabama business school.
